Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy
As you would expect a venue catering for stag and hen parties and large groups often incurs damage and incidentals to our property. We have already heard every excuse under the sun – we expect you to take care of our property like you would your own. To ensure our fabulous venue is kept fabulous and in good condition we have a policy in place all our customers must read before placing a booking with us. Please read carefully all our policies and you as the group organiser will be trusted to pass the message on to the rest of your group who might not have read them, to ensure our terms and conditions are met at all times during your stay.
On arrival at reception you may be requested to provide a bond, usually to the amount of twenty pounds per person. This bond is refundable on departure in the event no damage has been caused. In the event damage has been caused you as the organiser are responsible. The damage caused will be charged to you, if the bond does not cover the damage, we will pursue you for criminal damage and you may receive a criminal record. If anyone is found to be damaging or tampering with any of our property including fire equipment, the group organiser's card may be charged accordingly and any bond may be taken in full. If any damage has been caused by your group, we will only deal with you the organiser direct to resolve the situation.
Although we are a group booking hotel, you must at all times consider our neighbouring properties and ensure you are not causing any issues with public safety, public nuisance or behaving in any manor deemed to be against the law including and not limited to antisocial behaviour. We will take this manor of behaviour very seriously and you and your group may be evicted from the hotel if we deem this necessary, you may also lose your bond in full.
We do not tolerate unacceptable behaviour which does or is likely to cause alarm, harassment, distress or disturbance to other guests or to those residing in our property or to those visiting surrounding properties. If you or your group is found doing so, you and your group may be evicted from the hotel if we feel this is necessary and you may lose your bond in full.
NO NOISE, NO NUISSANCE, NO NONSENSE POLICY
Our hotel operates on a no excessive noise, no nuisance, no anti-social behaviour policy. If you are found to be making excessive noise or any of the above, you will be evicted from the hotel and will not be reimbursed any payments, including losing your bond.
Our accommodation has standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety, and to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of all our guests. If you would like to check the conditions of stay relating to the accommodation business you may ask a member of staff for more details. We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you or anyone of your group engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests at our hotel. For the avoidance of doubt this also includes being rude or abusive in any way to the accommodation businesses' staff.
Rooms are always allocated on the day, and given on a first come, first served basis and as you will find in your confirmation email (if requested). It is noted that if we do not have the accommodation you requested, we will always supply you with alternative accommodation.
All bookings made with Mojitos Group Weekends are bound by the following policy regardless of booking source, including but exclusively travel agents, booking agents, direct reservations etc. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your rooms for your group at our venue. Once this has been taken any cancellation will result in the loss of your deposit period - this includes all circumstances such as an act of god, illness, deaths, epidemic and pandemic etc or where force majuere may be applicable. We advise all confirmed bookings must be paid in full one week prior to arrival. Payment can be accepted on arrival with prior notification. In the event of any cancellation of any person from the original group the full amount will be due.
We reserve the right to pre-authorise any credit or debit card prior to arrival to ensure full payment is possible.
